Satu Räsänen
Satu Räsänen (Master of Law) is both CEO and Chief Policy Adviser on Environmental Law and Policies. Prior to ACTS, Satu worked in law preparation at the Ministry of the Environment and as a leading expert on corporate environmental legislation at the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK).
Satu has very extensive experience in environmental legislation and policy and she has contributed to the preparation of every major environmental law in Finland. She has worked with all key industry associations, numerous companies, key authorities and decision makers.
Satu has also worked e.g. at the EK's Brussels office, acted as Finland's Chief Negotiator in the negotiations on UN Convention on Biological Diversity (Cartagena Protocol) and as a national expert in the EU Commission's working groups on environmental legislation.
